ETHOS, ETIQUETTE,
LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP🙂

🛹 Welcome to Millbrook skatepark, where the spirit of kickflips, grinds and a solid ollie thrives. We're excited to have skaters of all levels, from beginners to accomplished shredders, along with scooter riders, rollerbladers, and everyone in between. At the Brook, respect and camaraderie are the name of the game, as we believe in creating a welcoming environment where everyone can feel at home. To ensure that everyone has a good time while staying safe and respectful, we've put together a set of friendly ethos rules. Grab your gear and get ready to drop-in to the exciting world of Millbrook skatepark together! 🤙

  • Treat all individuals using the skatepark with kindness and respect, regardless of their skill level, age, gender, or choice of equipment. Old people will want to skate here too.

  • Be mindful of others using the skatepark and share ramps, rails, and other features cooperatively. Allow everyone a fair turn to enjoy the facilities. That’s rad.

  • Prioritize safety at all times. Wear appropriate protective gear such as helmets, knee pads, and elbow pads. Look out for fellow skaters and help prevent accidents whenever possible. We already have a case of a lost testicle.

  • Encourage and assist newcomers and beginners in learning new skills. Offer guidance and support to help them feel welcome and comfortable in the skatepark environment. The better they get, the better it is for everyone.

  • Bullying, harassment, or any form of discrimination will not be tolerated and is for losers. Everyone has the right to enjoy the skatepark without fear of mistreatment or intimidation.

  • Respect the skatepark and its surroundings by disposing of trash properly. Help maintain a clean and welcoming environment for everyone to enjoy. There’s loads of bins, so please use them.

  • Take care of the skatepark equipment and features. Avoid vandalism or damaging property, and report any maintenance issues to park management promptly, where offenders will be dealt with in the Millbrook way.

  • Respect nearby residents and businesses by keeping noise levels to a minimum, especially during early morning or late evening hours. However, we understand, it’s still a skatepark.

  • Embrace diversity and inclusivity within the skatepark community. Welcome individuals of all backgrounds, abilities, and interests to participate and contribute positively.

  • Above all, enjoy your time at the skatepark and spread positivity throughout the community. Celebrate each other's successes, share laughter, and foster a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels valued and accepted. Geddon.
